Leon ready for Monza's high speed thrills
The fifth round of this year’s Superbike World Championship takes place at one of the most famous and historic circuits on the calendar - Monza. For many, the Autodromo Nazionale is the place of legends and a mecca for petrolheads worldwide. The 5.793 kilometre track is renowned for its flowing nature, high speeds and fast riders can hit velocities over 300 kph.
The ‘king’ meets a prince
The King of this year’s Superbike World Championship (so far), met royalty at Silverstone before yesterday. Team Suzuki Alstare rider Leon Haslam, who is leading this year’s WSBK series by twenty points, met HRH Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, during a special presentation to launch the new Silverstone race circuit in front of many dignitaries, VIPs and Media.
Leon takes superb podium in race two and extends his series lead

The young Briton has given the Suzuki Alstare team their best results for years and is already looking like a title contender. So far this season he has taken two victories and three runner-up spots and is determined to carry on with podiums in Assen - a circuit he likes. His team mate Sylvain is also really ‘up’ for Assen and is looking forward to to the flowing 4.555 kilometre track and getting back to his early season form.
Haslam continues his winning ways
Team Suzuki Alstare rider Leon Haslam stormed his way to victory in the first race at the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo today and then followed it with a hard-fought for fourth in the second and increased his series lead to eighteen points.
