The Chairman of the association and former member of the Walloon Parliament, Louis Smal had the idea of creating a programme of professional and personal training through the practice of motor sports for young people with educational problems and learning disfunctions.

In 14 years "En vies d'avenir" has organised 22 training sessions of 6 months each and 300 people have joined its programme of social and professional reorientation aimed at providing the trainees with technical knowledge on motorbikes as well as personal and communicational skills.

Since its foundation the association has also supported the participation of its team to the race Enduro du Touquet, held in the French region of Nord-Pas de Calais. This highly spectacular enduro race takes place on the 15.5km circuit of the "Stella Merlimont" beach and each year gathers nearly 1000 riders - professionals and amateurs - and more than 250.000 spectators.

Thanks to the support Suzuki, Alstare's technicians have prepared a racing bike for the Belgian rider Thierry Klutz who will be at the start of the upcoming event with a Suzuki RMZ 450.

He won the French Enduro Championship in 2005 and the Belgian Enduro Championship in 2008 and has worked as trainer within "En vies d'avenir" until 2002 and he is presently working on a project supported by the institutions of the Communauté Française for the creation of new motocross tracks in the Walloon region.

" For our association the Enduro du Touquet is a very special occasion since we can give our guys - who do not have the possibility to travel or attend motorbike races - the opportunity of spending a hugely enjoyable time and support the rider they have been working with. I am really looking forward to the race since this year we have good chances to be in the top three thanks to the bike that team Alstare has set up for me".
