Max polls fourth on British website
Team Suzuki Alstare rider Max Neukirchner was voted in fourth place in a poll conducted by British website Crash.net. Nearly 25,000 votes were cast in the poll to determine the top riders in the World Superbike Championship and Max came a superb fourth.
As expected, Troy Bayliss topped the poll, with Noriyuki Haga second and Troy Corser third. Max finished ahead of established stars such as Ruben Xaus, Carlos Checa and Max BIaggi. He earned his fourth place by virtue of his tremendous performance on the Alstare Suzuki GSX-R1000 in 2008 during the season. What was also interesting on the Crash.net website were the comments in the forums by the voters who universally acknowledged Max’s talent and potential to be World Champion.
