Team Alstare Suzuki rider Michel Fabrizio suffered problems with his right wrist and also a lack of rear grip, causing him to finish 11th and 14th today. He was hoping to end the final round of the World Superbike Championship with a pair of strong top ten finishes, but it was not to be.

In race one, he attempted a pass on Tom Sykes (Kawasaki) on lap 17, but clipped the rear end of the Briton’s bike and and crashed. He remounted and carried on to finish twelfth. Michel’s second race lasted just two laps. He fell off at turn seven, but this time was unable to continue.
