Nurburgring Race 2, Sunday June 15th,
Some moments in the Championship stay in the mind for a while.
Massive crowds, television viewers and people watching in the pitboxes have seen many past duels showing the fervour and passion of the the riders.
Last Sunday, the second race at the Nürburgring featured two of the biggest names in racing giving their best in a close fight.
Troy Corser and Noriyuki Haga went ‘mano in mano’ on the track, causing a tremendous collective ‘Ooooh’ from the spectators every time they tried to pass each other.
There was no team strategy, no calculations regarding the championship standings, just a wonderful race where both gave their best.
No matter who won, we think both were winners and even the arrival of rain failed to dampen the show.
The Alstare Suzuki guys would like to thank those ‘Big Borrocks’ Champs for the beauty of their fight and for keeping the integrity of Championship at the highest level.
