When I heard that Alstare were interested in me for 2008, I contacted them straightaway because I knew that they are one of the best, if not the best, teams in the paddock. Alstare are a very professional team and they have a very good image also.
After speaking to Francis Batta, I knew I wanted to ride for them and that's how it started. Although I haven't ridden the bike yet, I've been close to it many times on the racetrack and so I have an idea of what it can do. It seems to be a very good package and I'm really looking forward to riding it.
World Superbikes is very competitive and I know that it is not going to be any easier next year but, with the support of the Alstare team, I feel we can make some really good results and take many podiums.
