For the second time in the history of the World Superbike Championship, the SBK paddock will make a stop at Vallelunga circuit. Located in Campagnano, not far from the Italian capital of Rome, Vallelunga is said to be amongst the most beautiful and spectacular circuits in Italy along with Monza and Imola. It is a fast track which favours adventurous and fearless riders. Originally built in 1957, Vallelunga has been generally ignored by word-class racing. But over the last few years, the 3,200 metre-long circuit has undergone many changes in infrastructure and its new and modernised version is now ready to host a round of the World Superbike Championship. Finally, it needs to be said that it is a very special location for Team Alstare Suzuki Corona Extra rider Max Biaggi. Max was born and raised in Rome but, despite the fact that he now lives in Monte Carlo, Vallelunga is still considered by many of his fans as the Roman Emperor's ‘home’.
